When I first started jiu-jitsu, I didn’t know what to expect. I saw a lot of cool fancy moves and thought how exciting it would be to do something like that. What I found instead with jiu-jitsu was a journey of self-discovery.
I learned how I act under pressure, stress, and in the face of adversity. It taught me to keep an open mind and to have a hard work ethic. Most importantly, it taught me to be a team player, a caring coach, and to share my jiu-jitsu with those around me.
The more I gave myself to jiu-jitsu, the more it gave back. This is something that I carry with me on and off the mats.
My classes are my personal system of drills and techniques that I’ve developed over the last 15 years of training and teaching Jiu-Jitsu. Applying this system is more than just details in techniques but a pattern that is laid out in a way, which leaves a high retention rate among my students and helps them apply techniques in class and competition.
By joining my classes, you get an intensive yet straightforward approach to learning jiu-jitsu in a format that will help you have a more dynamic and systematic approach on the mats.
